Hamburger Soup
1-1.5 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 qt diced tomatoes
3 cup water
3 bullion cubes
1.5 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1-2 bay leaves
6 carrots, sliced
3 celery stalks, sliced
3 potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks
Prep veggies. Brown beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, adding the onions in when the meat is almost cooked. Add tomatoes, water, and bullion and bring to a boil. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for about 2 hours.
Time to make: 2+ hours
