Strawberry Fluff Dessert

Crumb Crust

1 c flour
1/2 c pecans, chopped
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter, melted

Filling

2 egg whites
10 oz box frozen strawberries
2/3 c sugar
1/2 c melted butter
1 c whipped cream

Stir together crumb crust ingredients. Put the crumbled mix in the bottom of a 9×13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally twice during the baking time. Remove from oven, let crumbs, and pan cool. Set 1/3 of crumbs aside to be sprinkled over the top of the dessert.

Beat together egg whites, strawberries, sugar, and butter for 10 minutes at high speed, then fold in whipped cream.

Spread the fruit and cream mixture over the crumb crust in the 9×13 pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over the top. Freeze overnight. Allow to soften just slightly before serving.
