Herb Lamb

1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic (or 1/8 tsp powdered garlic)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp marjoram
1 Tbsp oil

Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees F.

Crush spices and blend together with oil. On fatted side of the leg of lamb, make criss-crossed slashes. Rub herbs in thoroughly.

Bake lamb for 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F and cover. Bake for another 20-25 minutes per pound.
