Americans sometimes spell it aebleskiver or ebleskiver.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>2 cup buttermilk<br \/>\n2 cup flour<br \/>\n3 eggs, separated<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp soda<br \/>\n2 tbsp sugar<br \/>\napple sauce or jam <\/p>\n<p>*You will also need an Ebleskiver pan*<\/p>\n<p>Beat egg yolks, then add sugar, salt, and milk.  Next, add flour, soda, and baking powder. Fold in stiffly-beaten egg whites. Place small amount of oil in each depression, fill 2\/3 full of dough. Place a small tsp apple sauce or jam on top of dough. Then cover with a bit of dough&gt; Cook until bubbly, turn carefully with a fork and finish baking on other side.  Remove from pan and sift powdered sugar over them.
