{"id":1143,"date":"2009-10-15T07:05:39","date_gmt":"2009-10-15T07:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=1143"},"modified":"2009-10-15T07:05:39","modified_gmt":"2009-10-15T07:05:39","slug":"strawberry-fluff-dessert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/10\/15\/strawberry-fluff-dessert\/","title":{"rendered":"Strawberry Fluff Dessert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><strong>Crumb Crust<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 c flour<br \/>\n1\/2 c pecans, chopped<br \/>\n1\/4 c brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 c butter, melted<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 egg whites<br \/>\n10 oz box frozen strawberries<br \/>\n2\/3 c sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 c melted butter<br \/>\n1 c whipped cream<\/p>\n<p>Stir together crumb crust ingredients.  Put the crumbled mix in the bottom of a 9&#215;13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally twice during the baking time. Remove from oven, let crumbs, and pan cool. Set 1\/3 of crumbs aside to be sprinkled over the top of the dessert.<\/p>\n<p>Beat together egg whites, strawberries, sugar, and butter for 10 minutes at high speed, then fold in whipped cream.<\/p>\n<p>Spread the fruit and cream mixture over the crumb crust in the 9&#215;13 pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over the top. Freeze overnight.
