{"id":15,"date":"2009-09-01T22:30:33","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T22:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=15"},"modified":"2009-09-01T22:30:33","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T22:30:33","slug":"bbq-spare-ribs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/01\/bbq-spare-ribs\/","title":{"rendered":"BBQ Spare Ribs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->1-2 lb boneless short\/spare ribs<br \/>\n1 batch <a href=\"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/01\/basic-bbq-sauce\/\">homemade barbeque sauce<\/a><br \/>\n1-2 tsp garlic powder<br \/>\nsalt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F.<\/p>\n<p>Brown ribs in skillet or electric frying pan on high. Sprinkle with garlic powder, pepper, and a little salt. Bring the sauce to a boil in microwave or a small sauce pot. Place ribs in a flat roasting pan or glass baking dish sprayed (bottom and sides) with non-stick spray.  Pour hot barbeque sauce over them. Cover with foil and cook for 3 hours total: 1\u00bd hrs at 325\u00b0F, then 1\u00bd hrs at 250\u00b0F. Uncover for the last 15-20 minutes, basting with juices in pan. Serve over hot cooked rice.
