They are quick and easy and don&#8217;t require cream of tartar!\u00a0 (taken from sixsistersstuff.com)<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Mix thoroughly:<br \/>\n1 stick (1\/2 cup) margarine<br \/>\n1\/2 cup shortening<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups sugar<br \/>\n2 eggs<\/p>\n<p>Mix in:<br \/>\n3 cups flour<br \/>\n2 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 tsp baking soda<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<\/p>\n<p>Chill dough for about 30 minutes. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. In a separate bowl, mix 2 Tbsp sugar with 2 tsp cinnamon (more or less depending on how you like it). Roll dough balls in cinnamon mixture.<br \/>\nPlace about 2&#8243; apart on ungreased cookie sheet.<br \/>\nBake 7-9 minutes until lightly browned, but still soft.<br \/>\nMakes about 5 dozen.<\/p>\n<p>Submitted by Melinda DeBirk<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alex LOVES these.
