{"id":372,"date":"2009-09-14T03:55:57","date_gmt":"2009-09-14T03:55:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=372"},"modified":"2009-09-14T03:55:57","modified_gmt":"2009-09-14T03:55:57","slug":"emilys-even-better-than-toll-house-chocolate-chip-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/14\/emilys-even-better-than-toll-house-chocolate-chip-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"Emily&#8217;s Even-Better-Than-Toll-House Chocolate Chip Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->The recipe on the outside of every bag of Toll House chocolate chips is pretty good, but Emily&#8217;s version of this old favorite recipe is even better!<\/p>\n<p>2 1\/3 cups all-purpose flour<br \/>\n1 tsp baking soda<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/2 cup butter, softened<br \/>\n3\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n3\/4 cup packed brown sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n2 large eggs<br \/>\n1 c (6-8 oz) Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips<\/p>\n<p>Pre-heat oven to 375\u00b0F.<\/p>\n<p>Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.  Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Gradually beat in flour mixture.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
