{"id":490,"date":"2009-09-21T03:01:44","date_gmt":"2009-09-21T03:01:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=490"},"modified":"2009-09-21T03:01:44","modified_gmt":"2009-09-21T03:01:44","slug":"mandarin-orange-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/21\/mandarin-orange-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Mandarin Orange Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->1 can of mandarin oranges (drain, but reserve juice)<br \/>\n1\/4 c oil<br \/>\n2 Tbsp vinegar<br \/>\n1 Tbsp parsley<br \/>\nsalt &amp; pepper<br \/>\n4 Tbsp sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 c sliced almonds<br \/>\n1 green onion, chopped<br \/>\n1 stalk celery, chopped<\/p>\n<p>Whisk juice from mandarin oranges with oil, vinegar, parsley, salt &amp; pepper to taste, and 2 Tbsp of the sugar.  Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Place remaining 2 Tbsp sugar along with sliced almonds in a skillet over med-high heat to brown, stirring frequently.  Set aside to cool.<\/p>\n<p>Mix chopped onion, celery, and orange slices.  Add sugared almonds.
