{"id":73,"date":"2009-09-01T23:26:43","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T23:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=73"},"modified":"2009-09-01T23:26:43","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T23:26:43","slug":"peach-oatmeal-muffins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/01\/peach-oatmeal-muffins\/","title":{"rendered":"Peach Oatmeal Muffins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Angie learned this recipe in her junior high home economics class.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dry Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 C whole wheat flour<br \/>\n\u00bd C quick cooking rolled oats<br \/>\n\u2153 C packed brown sugar<br \/>\n1\u00bd tsp baking powder<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp baking soda<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp salt<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp nutmeg<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wet Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>15 &#8211; 20 oz peeled peach slices<br \/>\n1 egg, beaten<br \/>\n\u00bd C milk<br \/>\n3 tbsp vegetable oil<br \/>\nPre-heat oven to 400\u00b0F. <\/p>\n<p>Dice peaches (canned or fresh) and set aside. Mix dry ingredients in one large bowl. Gently mix wet ingredients, including peaches, together in a separate bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry and stir gently just until mostly combined &#8211; It will be lumpy. <\/p>\n<p>Spoon into greased muffin tins \u2154 of the way full.
