{"id":87,"date":"2009-09-01T23:41:08","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T23:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=87"},"modified":"2009-09-01T23:41:08","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T23:41:08","slug":"crock-pot-white-chili","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/01\/crock-pot-white-chili\/","title":{"rendered":"Crock-Pot White Chili"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Kim Smith, one of the supervisors at Jim\u2019s BYU HTRSC job, brought a crock pot full of this delicious chili one day for a party and Jim loved it so much he asked for the recipe.<\/p>\n<p>48 oz great northern beans, drained &amp; rinsed<br \/>\n4 cloves minced garlic (or \u00bd tsp garlic powder)<br \/>\n1 medium white onion, chopped<br \/>\n4 oz chopped or diced mild green chillies<br \/>\n2 tsp ground cumin<br \/>\n2 tsp dried oregano<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp cayenne pepper<br \/>\n6 cups chicken broth<br \/>\n5 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts<br \/>\n3 cups grated Monterrey jack cheese<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients except cheese in crock pot. Cook for 3 hours on low. Remove chicken, shred, and return to pot.
