{"id":9,"date":"2009-09-01T19:43:29","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T19:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/groo.wordpress.com\/?p=3"},"modified":"2009-09-01T19:43:29","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T19:43:29","slug":"hot-chicken-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groo.4ever.family\/recipes\/2009\/09\/01\/hot-chicken-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Hot Chicken Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->2 c cubed cooked chicken<br \/>\n2 c diced celery<br \/>\n\u00bd c toasted or slivered almonds<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp salt<br \/>\n2 Tbsp lemon juice<br \/>\n2 tsp grated onion (or diced scallions)<br \/>\n1 c mayo<br \/>\n\u00bd c grated cheese<br \/>\n1 c crushed potato chips (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Mix everything except cheese and chips in a casserole dish (can be done a day or two in advance, as well). When ready to cook, preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Sprinkle chips and cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes (or for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F).<\/p>\n<p>Yields: 6-8 servings<\/p>\n<p>Time to make: ~30 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Source: Helen Brockbank McAllister (submitted by Pamela Peterson)<\/p>\n<p>Notes:  This salad is great by itself or as filling in a croissant or soft roll.
