Grandma Wanda’s Hot Rolls

2 C Milk or 2 C Water with 1/2 C Powdered Milk
2 Yeast Cakes
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 sq Margarine
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
Heat Milk with sugar and shortening. When cool add yeast cakes.
Let dissolve, add flour enough to make sponge.
Let rise till double in bulk. 1/2 hr is time enough if kept warm.
Then add baking powder, salt, add flour.
Make soft dough, knead well, let rise then roll out, raise again,
Bake 15-20 min in 375℉ oven. If you want dark, then 400 or 425°F oven.
