Andre Peterson’s Famous Oatmeal Cookies (circa 1983 or 4)

½ c brown sugar
½ c white sugar
¼ c margarine or butter
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp milk
1 c flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c quick-cooking oats

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream sugars with margarine/butter. Mix wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients. Mix everything together, drop cookies onto sheet pan and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Time to make: 15-20 minutes
